Obituary of Louise Munlin

On August Tuesday August 7, 2018, Louise Lorraine Munlin entered into eternal rest.  Louise Lorraine Munlin, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Chisolm was born in Charleston SC on December 27, 1947. 

Louise was affectionately known to family and friends as “Raine”.

Raine graduated from Burk High School.  She later attended North Carolina Central where she received her bachelor’s degree in Business.  After her first brush with Kidney disease she quickly became an expert in natural remedies.

Raine was united in Holy Matrimony to Louis J. Munlin on January 31, 1974.

Raine was employed at Chase Manhattan Bank and served as an IT professional.  She later worked for the Department of Natural Resources as an Executive Secretary until she fell ill.  Rainie loved nature, the ocean, crafts and music.  She loved spending time with her granddaughter Izzy and also enjoyed taking care of others.

Raine leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Louis J. Munlin; one daughter, Aisha Ayana Jones; one granddaughter, Izzy Maya Jones, seven siblings and a host of other relatives and friends.

The repast will be held at Zion Olivet Presbyterian Church, 3347 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston.
