Obituary of Carol Schroeder

Carol Jean Schroeder, 87, of Lexington, SC passed away surrounded by family on September 27, 2018.  She was born on May 24, 1931 in St. James, MN to Ludwig and Marie (Schutz) Kintzi.  Carol was a lifelong baseball fan and avid fisherwoman.

Carol is survived by her children, Jeanne Ellis of Ladson, SC and Rev. Mark Schroeder of Lexington, VA, grandchildren Jessica, Luke, Talitha, Timothy and Abraham.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emil Schroeder, parents Ludwig and Marie Kintzi and sister, Lois Peters.

Visitation will be at Simplicity – Ladson, 281 Treeland Dr., Ladson, SC on Thursday, Oct. 4 from 11 am to noon.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society.
