Coger Hair

Obituary of Coger Floyd Hair

Coger Floyd Hair born November 6, 1937 to Coger Isadore Hair and Cleo Floyd Hair as their only son. He had two sisters Jean Hair Hemstrought & Barbara Hair Gammons both preceded in death. He was a produce vendor and served the Lowcountry for many years.

Uncle Floyd, as he was affectionately known, was a compassionate person who was always willing to lend a helping hand.  He stood out from the crowds with his unique way of dressing; wearing plaid shirts, striped shorts, knee-high socks and sandals. He was sharp and would let you know.

Mostly, Uncle Floyd will always be known for his jokes and wide grin.  He brought a joke and laughter wherever he went. And before he left any family gathering, he would dance the “twist” just to show us he could still “get down”. Thinking of him, for those who knew him, will always bring a smile because he always made us smile.

If his purpose on Earth was to bring laughter-Mission Accomplished Uncle Floyd.

God rest your soul. You will be missed.
