I met Susan when she and Rick moved into Dockmasters at Palmetto Bay Marina and we instantly hit it off and became dear friends for the next few decades. She would even become my sister-in-law! There are so many memories of her; from the trip to the Abacos to all the golf holes we walked during Heritage over the years, from the countless games of pool to the wonderful weekends at the cabin in Asheville, Susan was always smiling and the life of the party. That party would not have been the same without her. Fly free, Dollface, and know that Hilton Head is a little emptier without you. I love you and will always cherish the memories of the times I spent with you.

Susan was one of the sweetest, most genuine and friendliest people I’ve known. She was truly a kind soul with a wonderful sense of humor. I will always fondly remember singalongs in the Chevette driving on the Island. I am blessed to have known her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. Rest In Peace Susan.

Susan was one of the nicest people I ever met. We had so much fun on the golf courses in school. We shared so many good times and dreams of travel over our 30 years of friendship. She will be missed. God speed my favorite Swede!
