Clay Alton Forsythe

Clay Alton Forsythe, 27, Summerville, SC, was born in Greensboro, NC to Alton Forsythe and Sandra Barnett Forsythe on September 15, 1994. He died on December 21, 2021 at home in North Charleston.
He is survived by his parents, his wife, Katey Welborn Forsythe of North Charleston, SC, his two brothers Paul Forsythe of Franklinton, NC and Ben Forsythe (Jan) of Durham, NC, his grandmother Wanda Barnett of Arden, NC, his uncle Doug Forsythe (Charmaine) of Chester Springs, PA, his Aunt Lynda Poulos (George) of Canton, GA, his uncle Randy Barnett (Lisa) of Asheville, NC, his cousins Jason Forsythe (Ashely) of Exton, PA, Brett Forsythe (Jessica) of Douglasville, PA, Valerie Barnett (Winston) of Wenatchee, WA, Nicholas Poulos of Canton, GA, Cameron Barnett of Salt Lake City, UT, Christian Poulos of Austell, GA, his nephew Hudson Forsythe of Greenville, SC.
Preceded by his grandfather Lee Barnett, grandfather Claude Forsythe.
Clay worked for Vapor Apparel in Hanahan, SC. Clay enjoyed video games as a kid. He liked fast cars and body building. He loved the beach, visiting waterfalls and being in nature. He hoped to become a scuba diver in the future.
A memorial visitation will be from 4:00 – 7:00 on Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the home of his parents.
