Obituary of James Thomas Andrews, Jr.

James Thomas Andrews, Jr., husband of Tami Fleming Andrews, passed away on February 10, 2022 after a painful battle with COPD. Tom was born in Charleston, South Carolina on Thursday, April 5, 1951 and died on a Thursday. He was predeceased by his parents, James (Jim) T. Andrews and Jeanne Hiott Andrews, and sister Judy. 

Tom is survived by his wife, Tami; daughter, Laurie A. Rossbach (Jason); sons, Justin T. Andrews and Seth J. Andrews; step-children, Kristin D. LaRoche (Jim Ciallella) and Adam M. LaRoche (Mary-Margaret Hewitt); siblings, Jeannette Bowers, Jennene Ellis (Dan), and John Andrews (Chris Chappell); grandchildren, Matilda Ann Graham Rossbach and Jameson T. Andrews; nephews, Daniel and Will Ellis and Richard and Bryan Bowers; nieces, Carly and Sadie Tucker; and lifelong childhood friends, Henry Edwards and Rick Alexander. 

A service, including the interment of ashes, will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at 2 PM at Grace Church Cathedral, 98 Wentworth Street, Charleston, SC 29401 with a reception to follow in Hanahan Hall. Masks are encouraged in the church building. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Grace Church Cathedral or the American Lung Association.
