Bluffton, SC - Howard John Rousseau, Jr. passed away on May 17, 2022 peacefully at home. Howard was born on March 1, 1939 to mother Nellie Dove and Howard Rousseau, Sr. He is predeceased by his brother Thomas Rousseau, and daughter Lori Francis. He is survived by his wife Carol Rousseau, brother Robert Rousseau, sister Mary Natvig, daughter Mary Jo Young (Jeff), sons John (Kim) and James (Brooke) Rousseau.

Howard was born in Portage, Wisconsin and raised in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. He attended Beaver Dam High School and married Carol Ann Rousseau in 1961. He worked successfully in consumer finance for 45 years.

Lovingly known as "Poppy" to his family, his favorite joy was spending time with his grandchildren; Emily, Megan, Regan, Jack, Matthew, Grant, Sean, and great grandson Hudson. He was incredibly generous and positive in spirit, but mostly loved to laugh and play with his grandchildren.

He was a member of Saint Gregory the Great Catholic church and a member of the Knights of Columbus. A memorial service will be held at Saint Gregory the Great Catholic Church on June 11,2022 and a celebration of life in Stoughton, Wisconsin on July 1,2022.
