On Thursday February 1,2024, Donald Francis Jr. went home to Glory. Donald was born on January 7,1950 in Cumberland MD. At a young age his family migrated to Brooklyn, NY and eventually settled in St. Albans, NY where he completed his education. Eventually he would meet the first love of his life producing two accomplished women Zayna L. Francis and Kandece R. Francis while starting his career of 33 years at New York Telephone which eventually became Verizon. 

After retiring Donald married his current wife and fellow co-worker, Fatimah Francis in 2004 adding three step grownups to the fold. Hadiya Nelthrope, Jamilah Nance and Shaheer Abdul-Hakeem  along with four grandchildren Elizabeth Harris, Jaloni Abdul-Hakeem, Amelia Nance and Aidan Sabbagh and two Great Grandchildren Camryn and Nalah from that union, whom he greatly adored. He also loved saltwater fishing and vintage cars was his passion. Donald and Fatimah, migrated to Awendaw SC where he would take his last breath at home. 

Donald also leaves behind his sister Kimberly Logan (Ruben), Brother Harold Francis (Doris), Nephews Harold Jr. and Tierre Francis and Emanuel Logan and their children.
