Obituary of Jessie "Lynn" Grobelny

Jessie "Lynn" Grobelny, 82 yrs old, of Carrollton TX, passed away on 2/29/24.
Lynn was born on 8/8/41 to James Calvin O'Donnell and Othella "Christine" O'Donnell, in Mineral Wells, TX.
On 12/1/56, she married Joe Davis, and had two children, Joe Pack Jr. “Jody”, and Teresa Gail.
She had a long career as an Assembly Technician and worked hard to advance herself into the position of Quality Inspector for several electronics companies, including Xerox.
She loved reading, watching mystery shows, gardening, loving on her "fur babies", spending time with her family and friends, and doing kind things for neighbors and friends who were in need.
In her Bible, it was written that she had accepted Jesus Christ into her heart on 9/19/2007 (her 2nd and most important birthday!)
She is survived by her son, Jody Davis, daughter, Teresa Ward, son-in-law Tommy Ward, 4 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.  Her prayers were answered when she was able to be reunited with most of her family in South Carolina, for the last few months of her life.  Many sweet memories were made in those final months.  She was able to spend time being cared for and loved on by her family. She  spent time reflecting on her life, and drawing even closer to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
In her last days, she told her family that she was sure of her salvation and ready to go be with Jesus.
What a gift of peace and comfort, for her family to hear.

Service will be held on Saturday March 16th at 11:00am, at Miles Road Baptist Church (Miles Jamison Rd, Summerville, SC).
