Obituary of Maxine Allen Clark

Maxine Allen Clark, 87, of Johns Island, SC passed away on September 1, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Maxine is survived by her brother Fletcher Allen, daughters Angela Allyn Hill and Janine Adele Farthing, son-in-law Wayne Hill, and daughters-in-law Susan Clark and Darlene Clark, her grandchildren Rebecca Hill Vandercook, David Wayne (Brenda) Hill, Rett Dwayne (Shelly) Clark, Jason Lloyd (Deanna) Clark, Elizabeth Robin Clark, Bryan Benjamin (Lindsay) Clark, Heather Ann Farthing, Brandon Douglas Farthing, Holly Lyn (Nathan) Washington, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Ernest Theodore Clark, father William M. Allen, mother Clydie Mills Ackerman and stepfather Ludie Ackerman, brother Marvin Lee Ackerman, sister Beaulah Ackerman Lindsay, sons Ronald Ernest Clark, Everett Dwayne Clark, daughter Elaine Alita Wingard, and son-in-law Joseph Wingard. A visitation will be held at Simplicity Lowcountry on Friday September 4, 2015 from 6-8pm (7475 Peppermill Parkway Suite E North Charleston, SC 29418). A short visitation will be held at 10AM on Saturday September 5, 2015 with the funeral service starting at 11:30AM at First Baptist Church of James Island (3483 Maybank Highway Johns Island, SC 29455).
